Our Team

Installing the highest quality rainwater harvesting systems since 2013.

Cqure Water began as Harvested Rain Solutions in 2013, when the founder, Ron Van Sickle, discovered the well at his Central Texas residence was running low. An engineer by trade, he applied his practice to design a cost-effective rainwater collection system for homes and ranches in Central Texas. Ten years later, Cqure Water has installed hundreds of collection systems and storage tanks, providing a reliable and delicious water source.

    Ron Van Sickle

    FOUNDER / CEO

Affectionately referred to as “The Lord of Rain” around the office, Ron began exploring rainwater harvesting in 2008 when we experienced well issues on his own property. In 2013, Ron took the leap from a weekend hobby and started his company, originally named “Harvested Rain Solutions”. While the company’s growth means Ron spends less time in the field than he did in the beginning, Ron still notes system start up as his favorite part of the process. His staff would probably say it’s the moments he gets to be back on a skid steer. In his free time, Ron enjoys anything that lets him use his hands and engineering background. He loves repairing or transforming vehicles, buildings, or landscapes.

    Ty Carlson

    FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER

Ty has experience installing hundreds of turnkey rainwater collection and purification systems across both high end residential and commercial spaces. As our Field Operations Manager, he is responsible for making sure our hard working crews have everything they need, and each client receives a professional, personalized experience. He is inspired to spread awareness about the increasing scarcity of groundwater resources and how rainwater is a great alternative. When he is not installing rainwater collection systems, he enjoys spending time with his family in the Great Outdoors and volunteering at Austin Ridge. Ty's favorite part of a rainwater collection design and install is going beyond simply the functionality of the system to also pay attention to its aesthetics.

    Sierra Cashion

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Sierra has been working in environmental conservation for the last decade. Beginning with back country trail building teams in Colorado, their work has carried them through multiple phases, ultimately falling in love with water conservation, and joining Cqure Water in 2020. A native Texan, they understand just how important water conservation is. As the Business Development Manager, she spends most hours designing website and social media content, but still savors the opportunity to be shin deep in mud. Her favorite aspects of the job are building tanks, and finding out what’s hiding in the inlet basket during annual maintenance. When not at work, good luck finding her! Sierra enjoys traveling with her husband, kiddo, and two faithful heelers.

    Quinn Rockrohr

    INTERNAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Quinn is often described as the glue of the company. Charged with all things from inventory to accounting, she keeps the wheels on the bus by providing the best possible systems and experiences for clients through operational excellence and data integrity. She grew up in and around construction before attending university in Kentucky for biology, and performing wildlife preserve management. She spends time outside of work reading, watching monster movies, and caring for a teenager and 3 ungrateful freeloading war criminals (cats). Her home is more rainforest than home, with tons of plants and too many animals with more than 4 legs. At work, she loves getting to be really nerdy about conservation, and when crews bring her cool rocks from the field.

    Jon Letteer

    PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

As part of the project development team, Jon enjoys walking customers through what we do and how we do it.  From initial site visit, project planning, hand off to our crew, and final completion, every step is exciting and fulfilling. He loves to problem solve and to critically think about how to achieve our goals and what it will take to get there, keeping the "big picture" in mind throughout every aspect of our builds. As a native Texan, Jon has witnessed the population explosion in Central Texas and the strain that it has put on our water supply.  Working for Cqure Water has allowed him to actively participate in ensuring water security for the people in this beautiful state.
